About Us
Salford Pride was first founded in 2011 by three friends to organise an LGBT+ celebration for the community of Salford. After almost a decade of advocacy and raising vital funds, Salford Pride now delivers wider awareness projects and events that engage with the LGBT+ community, promote equality and inclusion, working in partnership with other local organisations, businesses and policy makers in the fight for equality.
Our mission is to work to build a stronger, diverse community that celebrates inclusion and equality; where LGBTQ+ people are represented, thrive and live authentically, in our city and beyond.
